The Urbanism Inspiration section (UIN):
Intercultural urbanism is the understanding that making a city is a continual collective process. The basis of which is culturally relevant and specific placemaking that can take inspiration from a multitude of places around the world while adapting to the local needs of the different, especially most vulnerable, communities within a city.
Although none of the projects and initiatives in this section are perfect, they address important issues within an urban context and suggest possible solutions that seem to be human-centered and more inclusive.
